Listen To: 100 Christmases in Maryland

How many Christmases have you spent in Maryland? We found a couple of ''young ladies'' who have spent one-hundred or more Christmases in Maryland.

Molly MaGee was born March 20, 1909 and told Christmas In Maryland that a lot has changed in the past one hundred years especially the weather. When Molly moved to Linthicum Christmas meant working a lot of holiday parties at Snyder's Willow Grove Restaurant, where she says she also worked the crowd for hugs and tips saying ''it's better to give than to receive.'' Molly finally admited that she would sneak a nip or two at those parties because she says ''it was Christmas.''

Mary Chiumento was born April 11, 1907 on Keswick Road in North Baltimore. Her fondest memory dates back to about 1915, the year her father rented a horse and buggy to travel to her grandmother's house in the White Marsh area for Christmas dinner.

Today Mary still resides just a few miles from where she was born and spends Christmas with her children, and grandchildren.
