Listen To: A Heart of Maryland Christmas

They have been tuning up all year!

The Patapsco Valley Chapter of The Heart of Maryland Chorus.

Now it's showtime for this group of men from all parts of Maryland and beyond. Many of the singers can't even read music but it all comes together for a spectacular sound. Many do it for the fun, others for their own health.

Dick Powell says it's great for making memories around the holidays as well. He recalls a show that he was a part of at an orphanage where the singers brought their wives and children along. Collectively, they sang for the children, walked out among them, wrapped them up in their arms and they all joined together in singing Christmas carols. Just then, Santa Claus entered with presents.

The Heart Of Maryland Chorus is so much a part of Christmas In Maryland that they even created a jingle just for us. Listen!
